Auto insurance protects you against financial loss if you have an accident. Auto insurance provides property, liability and medical coverage.


Pays for damage to or theft of your car.


Pays for your legal responsibility to others for bodily injury or property damage.


Pays for the cost of treating injuries, rehabilitation and sometimes lost wages and funeral expenses.



Pays for damages (e.g. medical expenses, pain and suffering) to anyone injured or killed by your car only in an accident that occurs in Massachusetts, up to basic limit of $20,000 per person and $40,000 per accident.


Pays up to $8,000 to you or anyone you let drive your car, anyone living in your household, passengers and pedestrians, no matter who causes the accident. Personal Injury Protection pays for medical expenses, replacement services and 75% of any lost wages.


Pays for damage to your car, less any applicable deductible, no matter who causes the accident. If your car is financed, your lender may require this coverage as well as a particular deductible amount.


Pays for damage to or loss of your car, less any applicable deductible, resulting from perils such as fire, theft, vandalism, and striking an animal, but not collision. This coverage allows up to $15 per day (to a limit of $450) for substitute transportation (rental or other transportation costs including taxi, bus, and train fare) until your stolen auto is recovered.


Homeowners policies have differing provisions, although they generally provide Property and Liability coverage.


Pays for damages to your home, the structures on your property, and damages to your personal property.


Provides protection, including the cost of legal representation, from covered claims made against you or a resident family member for property damage or bodily injury. Liability coverage pays, up to your limit of liability, when you or a resident family member is found legally responsible for damage to the property of others or injuries to persons who are not members of your household.


Pays medical bills if someone (outside of your family) is injured while on your property, or is injured by you or a resident family member away from your property. This coverage is available regardless of whether or not you are legally responsible for the injury.


Auto and homeowner’s policies traditionally offer between $250,000 to $500,000 of coverage. However, that may not be enough coverage to defend against a lawsuit. Higher liability limits over and above your homeowner’s, automobile or watercraft liability policies are genrally prudent in order to properly protect your personal assets.


Factors that determine the premium for motorcycle insurance include engine displacement size in cubic centimeters, type of motorcycle, your driving record, your driving experience, whether or not you park the bike in a garage, location, and number of intended miles driven weekly all are. Rates are often based on the average number of riding months in Massachusetts. Watercraft Coverage

Jewelry insurance coverage provides for loss other than theft such as for lost or damaged items.


Fine arts and collections insurance covers paintings, rare books, coins, manuscripts, works of art and collectibles. Fine arts are covered against physical loss or property damage anywhere they are located in the world.
